Everyone has battles to fight and hurdles to overcome at some point. Whether you struggle with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, or any other issue, you should know that there is hope for a better tomorrow.

Ja'Vae Parham

It is my pleasure to welcome Ja'Vae Parham to the practice!

Ja'Vae is a graduate of Jacksonville State University and she received her Master’s degree in clinical-mental health Psychology from Alabama A&M University. Ja'Vae is an Associate Licensed Counselor, under the supervision of Pamela L. Tippit, with over 3 years of clinical experiences working with adolescence. Ja'Vae's journey has given her experience in community mental health school-based therapy services and day treatment programs, as well as individual, and group therapy. Ja'Vae also has experience working with adults to help them recognize and respond to life transitions and parenting challenges.

Ja'Vae believes therapy is an essential tool to help navigate and adjust to life's many changes and challenges. She also feels that the therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect of therapy. Ja'Vae believes it is her critical duty to:

  • Validate clients while simultaneously holding them accountable.

  • Addressing past or present experiences that contribute to anxiety and depression.

  • Helping clients cope with life's transitions and challenges that leave them feeling stuck. Support crystallizing and gaining insight into past and present thoughts, feelings and behaviors we learn to adjust to life stages and phases!
